Where an escape room loses time

No time to reset

The group finishing at 15:00 meets the group starting at 15:00 in the doorway. The game master has no time to put the keys back and lock the cabinets.

A company wants to play every room at once and pay by invoice. That means three bookings, a long email thread and an invoice in another program.

Gift cards in a binder

Gift cards are written by hand at the till. When someone rings to redeem one, you hunt for the number in a binder.

One price per room, and time to reset between groups

Each room is booked privately, so the group pays the same price whether they are three or six. You set the interval between start times yourself, for example every 75 minutes for a 60-minute game and 15 minutes to reset.

Game masters see which group goes into which room

The day's list shows every room and start time with the group's name, numbers and comment, such as a hen party. You assign a game master to each group and close a room while a puzzle is being fixed.

Gift cards sold on your website, redeemed when booking

Gift cards are bought and paid for on your website, and the recipient redeems one when booking a room. Companies playing after work are invoiced from Denira, and everyone else pays by Swish or card to your own Stripe account.

Common questions

How do we get time to reset the room between groups?

You build the reset into the interval between start times. If a group plays for 60 minutes and you need 15 minutes afterwards, starts run every 75 minutes. There is no separate setting for time between bookings today.

Can the price per person drop when more people play?

Not automatically. You either charge a fixed price for the room, or a price per person with a minimum and maximum number of players. A price that changes with group size can't be set today.

Can a company book several rooms at the same time?

Yes. The guest puts several rooms in one purchase and pays once. If the company wants to pay by invoice, you enter the bookings yourself and send the invoice from Denira.

How do gift cards work?

You sell gift cards on your website and the recipient redeems one when booking. The whole value is used in one booking and nothing stays on the card, so it works best with a value that matches the price of a room.

Can tourists book in English?

Yes. Guests switch to English in the booking, and your rooms' names and descriptions show in English once you have added them.
