Everyone turns up at eleven

Without booked starts, thirty people stand at the safety briefing at once, and the course is half empty for the rest of the morning.

Harnesses run out by midday

A course takes two hours and new groups start every half hour. By lunch there are more people in the trees than harnesses left for the next start.

A group wants its own start

A company of eighteen rings and wants to climb together. Someone has to remember to close that start before it is sold to others.

Starts are created from your opening hours with a set number of places in each. Harnesses are added as equipment for every course, so a start that would need more harnesses than are free can't be booked.

The day in the park

Instructors know how many are coming to each start

The day's list shows every start with its climbers, comments and payment status. You choose which instructor takes which start, and close the course for the rest of the day if thunder comes in.

Payment

Paid before the harness goes on

Guests pay by Swish or card when they book, and the money goes to your own Stripe account. Companies and schools that climb as a group can be invoiced straight from Denira.

Common questions

Do we have to enter every start time by hand?

No. Starts can be created from your opening hours at an interval, every 30 minutes for example. When the opening hours change with the season, the starts follow.

Can guests confirm their height or weight, or sign a waiver?

Not in the booking today. Guests give their name, email, phone and a comment. You put height and age requirements in the course description and your booking terms, which guests see before they pay, and check them on site.

Can a company book a whole start for itself?

Yes. You can sell a private start at one fixed price for the whole group, so nobody else can book onto the same time.

Can we charge more at weekends and in school holidays?

Yes. Each price category can have other prices for weekends, school holidays or certain times of day.

What happens to bookings when we close for thunder?

You close the starts so nobody else can book them and send a message to the guests on them. If the course allows rebooking, guests who bought rebooking protection can pick a new time themselves. You cancel and refund the others one at a time.
