Guests who don't show

A boat promised for the whole Saturday stays at the jetty when the guest never gets in touch. That day can't be sold again.

Three hours or till Sunday

One guest wants the boat for three hours, another for the whole day and a third until Sunday. Fitting it into the calendar takes time every evening.

The boat is at the yard

An engine breaks down in July. The boat has to come out of the booking until it's fixed, while the other boats are rented out as usual.

Add each type of boat with how many you have and how many people fit. Guests choose the length, day and time, and the boat is held while they pay.

The day's list shows every hand-out with the boat, extras, the guest's comment and whether the rental is paid. If a storm is on its way, you message everyone who has booked and close the day.

Boat and picnic basket in one payment

Guests pay for the boat and extras by Swish or card when they book, straight to your Stripe account. Each extra has its own VAT rate, and companies hiring boats for a conference get an invoice from Denira.

Common questions

Can we take a deposit for the boat?

Not in the booking today. Guests pay the full rental when they book, and you take any deposit on site as before.

Can we check that the guest can handle a boat?

The booking has no questions of its own for that today. Put your requirements in your booking terms, which are shown when the guest pays, and ask guests to answer in the comment field.

Can the same boat be rented by the hour and by the day?

Yes. Set up each rental length as its own experience with its own price and link the same boats to all of them. A boat rented for the whole day then can't be booked by the hour that day.

Can we rent out the boat with a skipper?

Yes, as a separate experience with one fixed price for the whole party. You assign the skipper to the booking in the day's list.

What do we do if a booked boat breaks down?

You block the boat so it can't be booked again and contact the guests who have it booked. Each booking is then rebooked or refunded on its own in Denira.
