What trips up a canoe rental

Three days in a day calendar

A family rents from Friday to Sunday. The canoe has to be crossed out on three days, and if Saturday is missed it gets rented out again.

People into canoes

A party of five rings up wanting to paddle. Someone has to work out that means two canoes and check they are free on every day.

The tents run out first

There are canoes left but only two tents and one camping stove. Nobody notices until the guest arrives to collect.

Guests book the days, the canoes and the tent at once

Guests choose the number of days and how many canoes their party needs, and only see what is free for the whole period. Tents, stoves and dry bags are sold as extras with their own count, so they can't be sold twice either.

You see who is collecting canoes today

The day's list shows every hand-out with the party, number of canoes, extras and the guest's comment. If the river is running too high, you close the days it affects and show a notice in the booking.

Payment

Families pay when booking, school camps by invoice

Families and couples pay by Swish or card when they book, straight to your Stripe account. Schools and clubs paddling with a whole group get an invoice from Denira, with a reminder if it goes unpaid.

Common questions

Can guests rent a canoe for several days?

Yes. You set up rental lengths in 24-hour periods, such as 1, 3 or 7 days. The canoe is taken for the whole period, and guests can only book it when it is free on every day.

How do we price one day and a week differently?

Set up each rental length as its own experience with its own price. The canoes are counted across all of them, so a day and a week take from the same canoes.

Can one person rent a canoe alone?

Yes, if you allow it. You set the minimum and maximum number of people per canoe, for example one to three.

Can we sell transport to the put-in?

Yes, as an extra with its own count, such as seats on the minibus. You send the pick-up time and place to the guests as a message.

What if a guest wants to change the dates?

Guests can rebook on their own if you allow it and they bought rebooking protection when booking. Otherwise you move the booking for them.
