The phone rings at hand-out

On a Saturday in July guests are queuing at the jetty while the phone rings. Whoever answers can't be sure how many double kayaks are already promised.

Half days and full days clash

Someone renting for four hours and someone renting all day both need kayaks over lunch. On paper you only notice when the kayaks run out.

Tours take the same kayaks

The guided evening paddle needs eight kayaks from the same jetty. If nobody has taken them off the count, they get rented out a second time.

Guests only see kayaks free for the whole rental

Add your single and double kayaks with how many you have and how many people fit in each. The booking on your website checks the whole rental period, and the kayaks are held while the guest pays.

The day at the jetty

You know which kayaks go out at ten

The day's list shows every start time with its guests, kayaks, extras and whether the booking is paid. When the wind picks up, you close the rest of the day and message everyone who has booked.

Payment

Paid before the guest gets in the kayak

Guests pay by Swish or card when they book, and the money goes to your own Stripe account. Companies booking a paddle for their staff get an invoice from Denira, with a reminder if it goes unpaid.

Common questions

Can guided tours and rentals share the kayaks?

Yes. The kayaks are added with a number and linked to both the tours and the rentals. A kayak booked on a tour cannot be rented out at the same time.

Can a half day and a full day have different prices?

Yes. Set up each rental length as its own experience with its own price. They all count from the same kayaks, so guests see the right number whichever length they pick.

What do we do with a broken kayak?

You block it in Denira while it's being repaired. The booking on your website then counts one kayak fewer until you lift the block.

Can guests sign a liability waiver when they book?

Not in the booking today. Your booking terms are shown at checkout, so that is where you can set out the rules on swimming ability and life jackets.
